Ojas Milk for Immunity and Vitality!
Ojas in Sanskrit is often translated as “vitality” “vigor” or “luster”. Ojas is strength; energy, nourishment, and the essence of immunity. Ojas’s qualities are unctuous, cool, sweet, heavy, and smooth. Think of a nice ripe Avocado, sweet dates, or a warm grounding milk drink.
Ayurveda offers different ways to build Ojas one of them through an Ojas building milk.

Try the recipe below and allow yourself to indulge in a rejuvenating and replenishing meditation that will bring you grounding, softness, and well-being.
1 cup organic almond milk.
10-15 almonds, soaked overnight, peeled and chopped.
2-3 whole pitted dates, chopped
1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger
1/4 teaspoon powdered cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon powdered cardamom
1-3 pieces of whole clove
Blend almonds and dates in a high-speed blender with the milk until fully blended. Add all ingredients into a deep pot. Bring to a low boil. If you have it available use a whisk, preferably an electric one, to make it frothy and creamy. Pour it into your favorite mug, a dash of maple syrup is optional since dates are super sweet, and lastly add a pinch of salt and cinnamon on top. Indulge, and replenish your well of vitality.
